Cancellation and Modification Policy for Custom Orders

At the Maker's Hands Workshop, we strive to provide efficient and reliable services to our valued customers. In order to ensure a seamless experience, we have established the following policy regarding cancellations and changes to custom orders:

  1. Cancellation and Modification Timeframe: To cancel or make changes to a custom order, we kindly request that you notify us no later than the end of the next day following the placement of your order. For your convenience, you may contact us by phone at 803-674-0457 to inform us of any changes. However, to maintain accurate records, we kindly ask that you also submit a written 'Cancellation Request' via email to orders@makershandsworkshop.com.

  2. Cancellation and Refund Limitations: Once we have initiated the process of ordering the necessary items or materials for your custom order, cancellations and refunds will no longer be possible. Custom orders are meticulously crafted according to your specific requirements, including size, shape, and colors. Consequently, once a custom order enters the production stage or has been shipped, it becomes ineligible for cancellation, refund, refusal, or return. This is due to the inability to resell customized items, as they are tailor-made to suit your individual preferences.

Refund and Return Policy

At the Maker's Hands Workshop, our utmost priority is your satisfaction with your purchase. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly and ensuring your complete contentment in the event of receiving a defective item or if any mistakes occur during the production process. As stated, the Maker's Hands Workshop will only accept returns/refunds or provide replacement products in the event that the product is damaged or defective in some way. 

  1. Returns and Refunds: You may return an unused, undecorated item in its original packaging for a refund within 30 days of the delivery date. Regrettably, after this timeframe, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges. If you encounter defective merchandise or mistakes in personalization/customization, please notify Maker's Hands Workshop within 30 days of receiving the item to initiate a return authorization.

  2. Eligibility for Returns: To qualify for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it. It should also be accompanied by the original packaging. Only items that are defective or damaged are eligible for returns. We kindly request your careful attention when entering lettering and customization details. Returns are exclusively accepted for defective merchandise or errors made during the production process. In such cases, a corrected version will be provided as a replacement.

  3. Return Process: All exchanges require prior approval before shipping. To obtain a return authorization, please submit a written 'Return Request' via email to orders@makershandsworkshop.com. Upon receipt of your request, we will provide you with a return authorization.

  4. Partial Refunds: In certain circumstances, partial refunds may be granted if applicable. These include instances where an item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts due to reasons unrelated to our error. Additionally, items returned more than 30 days after the delivery date will not be accepted.
