About Us

About Us:

Welcome to the Maker's Hands Workshop, a trusted family-owned and operated business that showcases exquisite craftsmanship. Our goal is to offer a collection of heirloom-quality products meticulously handcrafted with utmost care and precision. Our Masonic heritage is the cornerstone of our Maker's Hands Workshop values. We deliver unparalleled craftsmanship and unwavering customer satisfaction, and each piece we offer showcases our passion for excellence.

This business was started to allow me to bring my passion for wood and leatherworking to everyone. It has allowed me the opportunity to share the skills my father taught me while working and learning from him at his hobby and business, Martin's Harness and Saddlery Company. I have taken the lessons he taught me as a child and tried to apply them to my craft, making Masonic collectibles and gifts.

We are constantly updating our collection with innovative and captivating products, catering to those seeking a unique gift or tasteful addition to their homes. We value personalization and are ready to collaborate with you to create a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your individual style and preferences. Discover the meticulous artistry that defines our creations, from intricately designed jewelry to finely crafted home décor. Each item bears the mark of dedication and skill.

Our customers' satisfaction is our top priority, and we are committed to providing outstanding customer service. Our knowledgeable team can assist you with your inquiries and ensure your shopping experience with us is exceptional.

The Maker's Hands Workshop is a testament to the pursuit of artistry and craftsmanship epitomized by Freemasonry. Experience the passion and dedication that define Maker's Hands Workshop, bringing you heirloom quality, from our family to yours

About Me:

I am Adrian Martin, the proud owner of the Maker's Hands Workshop in Lexington, South Carolina. With a lifelong passion for learning and growth, I have overcome challenges and pursued knowledge to build a successful career in the environmental industry.

Since 2003, I have acquired a wealth of experience and expertise in this field. I have held key positions such as Superintendent and Lab Director of a private wastewater utility, Chief Operator of South Carolina's largest wastewater treatment plant. Currently, I serve as the Lead Operator at the City of Columbia's Lake Murray Water Treatment Plant.

My dedication to environmental stewardship has led me to gain three state licenses in Water Treatment, Biological Wastewater Treatment, and Water Distribution. Additionally, I have completed two Department of Labor Apprenticeship Programs in Water and Wastewater Treatment, demonstrating my commitment to professional development. In 2016, my contributions during the historic flood in Columbia, South Carolina, were recognized with the City of Columbia's Valor Award and the International Water Environment Federation's Water Heroes of the Year award.

Outside of my professional career, I am an active member of the Masonic community. I am a 3rd Degree Master Mason and Junior Deacon at Elmore Lodge No. 288, the "Crown Jewel of the 8th Masonic District," under the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of South Carolina, AFM. Additionally, I am a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and Knight of Saint Andrew with the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction, Valley of Columbia, Orient of South Carolina. Finally, I am a Noble Shriner with the Jamil Temple. Through these Masonic affiliations, I aim to positively impact my community and beyond.

On a personal note, I have been happily married to my supportive wife, Erica, since 2016. Although we don't have children of our own, we cherish our roles as an aunt and uncle to a loving extended family. Our gray American Pit Bull Terrier rescue adds further joy to our lives. In my leisure time, you'll often find me engrossed in woodworking projects, dedicating myself to ongoing studies, or exploring nature trails accompanied by my faithful four-legged companion.

I am enrolled full-time at Grand Canyon University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. This academic pursuit aligns with my desire to transition into a managerial role within the industry. I aspire to guide and mentor the next generation of operators while emphasizing the importance of environmental responsibility. Additionally, I am pursuing a minor in Systematic Theology, reflecting my lifelong passion for theology with the hopes to one day pursue my Master's in Divinity.

Maker's Hands Workshop holds a special place in my heart, and I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with individuals across the country who appreciate our craftsmanship. Your support and kind words bring immense joy, and I am deeply thankful for your encouragement. Notably, a portion of the business's profits are reinvested into Masonic Charities through donated raffle and auction items. I am so grateful to be able to support these worthy charities and their endeavors.

Thank you sincerely for your unwavering support of Maker's Hands Workshop. Your love and encouragement mean the world to me!
